decision. To assist you in making the right choice we have established a
Physician Referral Service. We will search our database of more than 300
physicians on our medical staff, to help you make the best selection for you

Education:
Norwegian American Hospital provides onsite
educational classes and workshops taught by our healthcare professionals, including subject matters
such as Diabetes, Smoking Cessation, Nutrition, and Childbirth Preparation,
offered in English and Spanish. Please contact us

Community Health
Center: Our Community Health Center is our family health clinic
conveniently located on the first floor of the hospital. This clinic caters
to persons of all ages for wellness care, acute care, and chronic illness
care such as diabetes, hypertension and asthma. For

Women’s Health Center:
The Women’s Health Center at Norwegian American Hospital provides services
designed to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of women in
the community
through all stages of life. Our staff offers direct services,
uniquely tailored health education, counseling services, as well as linkages
to physicians to assist women in coordinating all aspects of their health
care. Our Women’s Health Center is committed to meeting the health,
education, and support needs of women and their families.

Integrative Medicine and Education (CHIME): Our mission is to deliver a high quality, integrated health care and
education resource program that is
customer-focused, equitable, safe and
cost-effective in a healing environment. In conjunction with other Norwegian
American Hospital departments, CHIME
provides complete integrated health care services that include current
medical practices, as well as complementary alternative modalities.

Community Pharmacy:
The Norwegian American Hospital Community Pharmacy is located on the first
floor Professional Office Building and offers competitive prices for
prescription drugs and non-prescription drugs. Medications may be purchased
by using a private insurance card, Medicaid or Medicare card, cash, check or
credit card (Visa, Master Card, and Discover). For further information, call
the pharmacy directly at extension 8260. The Pharmacy's hours of operation
are: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m.
Corporate Health:
The NAH Corporate Health program has established itself as a premier
provider of occupational health in the Chicago land business community. NAH
Corporate Health offers expert treatment of occupational injuries and case
management, while assisting companies with open lines of communication.
Corporate Health also provides physical therapy, specialist referrals,
pre-employment physical examinations; all forms of drug and alcohol testing,
employer/employee DOT requirements, Executive Physicals and Wellness Exams.
