comprehensive program for the medical treatment of substance abuse. This
includes managing the acute phase of drug withdrawal as a first step in
helping individuals toward a drug free life, preventing further physical,
social, and psychological damage related to substance abuse and dependence.

The Maternity Service unit here at Norwegian American Hospital is
devoted to providing personalized, comprehensive and quality care during the
delivery of your baby. Our Labor & Delivery, Special Care Nursery (Level
II+) and Mother Baby units offer comfortable surroundings with the newest
technology and equipment to provide you with family centered care which
allows the expectant mother to have the best birthing experience. We
encourage early maternal child bonding and thus we promote rooming-in of
infant with mother. We offer a variety of services which include
Ante-partum Testing (NST), Childbirth Education (prenatal classes),
Lactation Counseling, and Well Mother and Baby educational classes. We are
committed to providing our expectant mothers and our community with the
highest level of services and care.

The Imaging Services unit at Norwegian American Hospital provides quality,
cost-effective comprehensive diagnostic and interventional radiology
services in a compassionate atmosphere. Our dedicated team utilizes
technologically advance imaging methods to meet the needs of our community

comprised of two units, a 24 bed adults unit and a 12 bed senior unit.
