to Norwegian American Hospital’s Wound Healing
Center. Our mission is to deliver a high quality and
comprehensive wound healing program that is
customer-focused, outcome-driven, equitable, safe, efficient and cost-effective i
n a very compassionate environment. Our wound healing team of experts works
collaboratively with many departments including
podiatry, physical therapy, imaging services,
surgery, laboratory, vascular, cardiology,
pharmacy, social services, infection
control, dietary, and internal medicine to
deliver a complete integrative service for our
customers.
The Wound Healing Center is the
creation of Angeles M. Valdes, D.P.M., the Wound
Healing Center Medical Director. It was formally
established in June of 1993 with the optimal goal of
complete wound healing and limb salvage, and the
passion for this healing tradition continues.
