At Norwegian American Hospital we understand that being in the hospital can be a stressful experience. That’s why we take steps to make your hospital stay as pleasant as possible, from providing you with a comfortable, restful environment to treating you with courtesy, dignity and respect.
To help us ensure that our patients are pleased with their treatment, we participate in a nationwide survey that measures how satisfied patients are with their care. The survey asks patients what they liked — and didn’t like — about their hospital care.
The survey, called HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems), includes questions about different aspects of the patient’s care experience.
