Women’s Health Services

Teenage Care
Adolescence is the time of life when puberty begins and so many changes take place. Your body will go through gradual and wonderful stages, and so will your mind and spirit. At times, it’s exciting…at other times, confusing.

As your medical providers here at the Women’s Health Specialists, we want to take some of that mystery out of your teen years. We’re here to support you through important health decisions, fitness, nutrition and much more.

OB Care
Every birth is a special event at the Women’s Health Specialists at Norwegian American Hospital! We are excited that you chose us to share this journey with you. Our commitment is to provide you with the highest level of competent, safe, and personalized care to ensure the health of you and your baby.

Our practice offers complete obstetrical care that includes prenatal visits, the delivery of your baby, and post-partum evaluation.

Gynecology
Women’s Health Specialists at NAH offer comprehensive, board certified gynecologic care, including annual preventative exams, reproductive/contraceptive management, and treatment for menopause or other gynecologic conditions. We believe that maintaining your gynecologic health is an integral part of your overall health.

Based on preference, our patients may visit a physician or midwife for routine gynecological exams and general issues, such as vaginitis, contraception, abnormal bleeding, urinary tract infections, and screening for sexually transmitted diseases. Our physicians will often work more closely with complex issues involving medications or surgical interventions. However, the beauty of our practice is the ability to migrate between a physician or midwife based on your individual needs.

Midlife and Beyond
The voyage through midlife and menopause is a unique and personal experience for each woman. Our providers have years of experience helping women during this special stage of their lives. Opportunities to embrace these changes – whether emotional, spiritual, relational or physical – abound.
